Death note has to be the anime/manga of 2007,
yagami light discovers the "death note" , a notebook with the power to kill, and decides to rid the world of criminals.
concerning the manga; the suspense is awesome, and the plot is flawless, it will have you on the edge of your chair wanting more,
the anime is beautifully drawn, although it lacks action scenes. the intro and outro are beautiful songs/videos and is a perfect rendition of the Manga.
there are also 2 live action movies worth checking out, if you have a chance, 1 of them is posted up on youtube.com

already Tired of watching death note and subbed episodes takes time to be released...there are 40+ episodes and I really don't have the patience to wait for it to finish.
